Mr. Prasanna Venkatesh G was invited as a panelist at the prestigious Green Pro Summit 2024, hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in New Delhi on 17 October 2024. The summit, dedicated to sustainable development and green building practices, brought together thought leaders from diverse sectors, including developers, architects, and green building innovators.
In the panel discussion on “Green Solutions in Buildings – Opportunities and Challenges,” Mr. Venkatesh emphasized the need to adopt green technologies like smart metering systems, wastewater treatment, and IoT-based building automation to enhance energy and water efficiency. While acknowledging the upfront costs of green solutions, he highlighted their long-term financial and environmental advantages.
Addressing the challenges, he called for heightened awareness, a skilled workforce, and greater access to sustainable technologies. He concluded by advocating for collaborative efforts among policymakers, developers, and industry leaders to advance green building initiatives and drive the industry toward a more sustainable future.
